I have mixed feelings about the protestors. On one hand, it seems counterproductive and perhaps misinformed. (It isn’t just the flu.) On the other hand, I like living in a country where people will risk their lives for freedom, no regrets. I fully embrace both sides.

The protests are fine and I am glad that there is some public spirit left to stand against government incompetence. The troubling bit is that the protesters are not wearing masks.

It does detract from their message.

Wearing a mask is the high-ground manoeuvre if you want CCP-virus restrictions loosened and the economy reopened.

Why? It's security theater. Masks don't keep you from getting a virus.

I recommend blocking all the "masks don't work" people permanently. Here is the actual SCIENCE (not the lies) on the subject. 1) Masks clearly work in sophisticated experiments. https://twitter.com/startupdaemon/status/1237409689736024064 …

No masks says "we are grown ups and accept the risks" Very much in-line with their protests

Kinda like how the constant lowering of numbers in the ever changing projections detracts from the message of those who believe that senselessly pushing us into a depression is a viable solution?

Could anyone imagine the 'no masks when protesting' philosophy would take this turn?

The normalization of mask wearing is a coronavirus reality which anyone with a brain who cares about civil liberties should be EMBRACING.

China sent people from Wuhan to infect the rest of the world. They couldn't travel within China. Even the boss could figure out what they did.
