The #decoupling from #fentanylChina is happening no matter who is president. There will be too much social and political pressure on American companies for them to remain.https://twitter.com/ianbremmer/status/1251606054322012160 …

Most Chinese leaders I’ve spoken with want a second Trump term. They think relationship with US will be more confrontational whoever wins in November. But they see Trump’s #AmericaFirst unilateralism and poor relations w many allies providing more opportunity for China.

That's got to be the most forced effort to justify why Trump would be wanted by China that I've ever seen. China would love a case of dementia in the white house.. give me a break.

China poisons America with fentanyl just as assuredly as they lied about the Wuhan Virus. Gotta love the CCP.pic.twitter.com/K8uMekRY7L

Problem...if prices from China remain low and people have little money. They will want the cheaper stuff.

People ALWAYS want to pay less for the same item. Scott hopes to “hypnotize” U.S. consumers into paying more as a way of exacting revenge for the death of his fentanyl-addicted son. Problems: people aren’t that outraged by that, OR Chinese lab accidents.

So that's the narrative? China wants Trump? Not the guy whose son got $1 billion of ChiCom money to invest? Riiiiiight.

Bremmer is in the talking business. He will say almost anything to get airtime... even disguise his Trump-hatred for a conservative audience, if that what it takes to get attention. His “brand” is pretending to be fair-minded...kind of a white Fareed Zakaria.
