PPP was underfunded from the start.
Which businesses received the $$ & why? Who knows - Bank relations?
Is it fair? No.
Imagine a competing small biz receives the 2.5 months of payroll/rent & yours does not. You/your employees suffer & may even fold.
Gov’t picking winners.

Imagine assuring employees:
“Listen, times are tough, but we immediately got our application in for PPP & it will help bridge the gap.”
Weeks later, nothing. No info from bank except a “pending” notice. Then, all funds are gone.
No guideance going forward.
Promises broken.

I hear politicians claim that "we are all in this together". In the spirit of shared sacrifice and leading by example, I think Fed govt programs and salaries should be cut 5% across the board and the savings used to help people and businesses with lost livelihoods
