I’ve made an entire career out of doctors being bad at business. They’re the smartest people in the room, but more often than not their confidence exceeds their knowledge on the business side of it.

Can confirm. Worked in investments for 20+ years. Doctors were the WORST clients bc they didn’t understand anything about money, but were sure they’re smarter than you. Made leading them to the best option very difficult, and they’d blame you when they didn’t follow your guidance

In college I worked for FirstUSA Credit Cards. A Dr, calls in and asks for raise in credit line, which never works, but I ran it for him, it failed. He gets angry, we tussle, AND A STOCK BROKER gets on saying he needed the credit to buy stocks with. Dr’s are people too...
