Based on what we now understand about #coronavirus, it seems clear to me the consensus of opinion in the country is that losing a few hundred thousand people (or fewer if we are clever) is an acceptable price for reopening the economy. I'm in a higher risk category and agree.

It's not a "my life or yours" scenario. No one's life hinges on 2% GDP growth. Even if your job didn't lower your risk so far that your gesture became moot, it's not just your own life on the line, and, to agree with your barb, it's not for the sake of anything worth dying for.

PS, replying to me, an actual nobody, instead of the 30k+ follower account I replied to (who gave you VERY specific advice on what high risk thing you can do to help), is circumstantial evidence that you actually AREN'T the sort of chap to risk your life for the sake of another.
