Based on what we now understand about #coronavirus, it seems clear to me the consensus of opinion in the country is that losing a few hundred thousand people (or fewer if we are clever) is an acceptable price for reopening the economy. I'm in a higher risk category and agree.

Imagine being so foolish that you completely ignore the experience in China and Italy and fail to use full PPE when dealing with patients from day 1! Never want that guy to treat me if I'm sick!! FFS

Agreed. People worry this is a slippery slope. I would argue most patients will do anything to live. Most families the same. It is very hard to let go. Want to share this few know. Went into cancer surgery 2 yrs ago, asked doctors to agree to let me go should I stop 1/2
