Well, before deciding whether that's a useful tool I'd like to know how often the name is associated with ancestry, especially in the United States. For example, my name is Irish BUT I am less than 50% Irish.

Missouri has a high percentage of German ancestry. Outside of St. Louis, the numbers are relatively low and 92 of the 110 deaths are people over 60.

I'm also of German ancestry (pretty much 100% German ancesty) and I rarely get sick. I have seasonal allergies and the occasional bout of food poisoning, but I've only had the flu once in my 37 years of existence.
