Less density=different behaviors, which would mean even fewer infections per capita. Not just numbers.

RE: "Density doesn't matter to ultimate number of infected." Not true. Since people who're infected eventually get well, in a sparsely populated area they will encounter much fewer people while sick and the number needed to reach herd immunity is lower than in a place like NYC.

Agree. Carrier not infectious forever. Virus has limited time to transmit to new host. Plus, once expelled by carrier (cough) virus has limited life in air or on surface. No contact with new host - no transmission. IMO, less density should make it harder for virus to spread.
