Anyone can find an expert to disagree with whatever some other expert says. Take doctors for example. Depending on your doctor, a course of treatment might be entirely different. And don’t get me started on economists!

I count myself in that group. Most "experts" who try to justify their statements with "Oh, well, game theory," or "our models tell us," and nothing else, probably don't know what they are talking about--they have been led to their "opinion" by someone else, usually for profit.

Lobbying groups and "regulatory capture" are the enemy of honest experts, and our systems and institutions are vulneralble to corruption by these influences.
