Calculate the #Coronavirus risk of death for a 35-year old American, non-smoker, average weight, no known underlying health problems, practicing social distancing, wearing a facemask, commuting to work alone. Why can't that person go back to work?

Grandma should stay home. We aren't "getting rid" of this virus. Nobody every said we were. We can track (or should be able to) real-time data of hospitals and test centers and shut down hotspots for 7-14 days as necessary.

The elderly are going to be in until the virus peters out somehow or there is a vaccine no? So how do governments expect people to sit at home for months without a major economic collapse.

If we can be trusted to social distance, then we can be trusted to stay away from grandma.

Apparently no, no we can’t.

We can avoid being in close proximity to those who are high risk. C’mon Scott....

Exactly. If you’re at risk you know to stay home and your family knows not to visit during this time. For most it’s a bad cold and they don’t even know they have it but they won’t get it again. There’s no need to lock everyone down past 30 days. (As per my Dr)

Grandma often says that herself.
My grandparents are dead. My parents all live 3000 miles away. If they don’t quarantine that’s on them. Why do we all need to stay home and lose our jobs & businesses?? There has to be a middle ground.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
