Again, speak for yourself. I and many other people on Twitter were quite cognizant all along of the import of this distinction and the ways in which it was abused (in both directions), and sought clarification. (1/2)

In January already people pointed out how COVID weakened people so other things killed them, *and* drained resources so other things killed people who didn’t have the infection but would have survived if there were no epidemic, *and* killed people who weren’t diagnosed. (2/2)

People contact MRSA all the time in the hospital, e.g. person comes in with many co morbidities to have surgery for cancer detected, during their stay the contact MRSA which causes exacerbation of their co morbidities and they die. What killed them?
