Well, virus prediction modeling just lost all credibility. But maybe only because of the way it was explained to the public?

The problem was the cross talk they had on the models, not the models themselves. If people pay attention, they can read what the models are actually saying.

Models are only as accurate as the assumptions they are simulated upon. In any unknown multi-variable analysis the outcome predictions will be unreliable. Models aren't a crystal ball for certain.
