Has #DrBirx ever been a useful source of information? She comes across as uninformed and confused to me...

Unless it’s under the federal purview to acquire it and it’s not, the states are responsible, then the feds can’t very well be responsible for measuring it. Not in real time anyways. Should they have that control? That is question.

Odd. That is not how the US system works. If a hospital needs something (PPE), it asks the city/county. If city cannot help, City then asks the state. If the state cannot help, it then asks the Feds But primary responsibility for coordination will be at much lower levels than Fed

So true. I have worked for so many companies that would not measure because it would bring attention to the fact they didn't know what they were doing.

Peter Navarro is in charge of coordinating federal logistical support to medical operations. He is trying to get the numbers right and oversee production of PPE and medical equipment. It’s not the Dr’s job...

The doorknob you retweeted conveniently leaves out Cuomo "forgetting" about respirators and other federally producured supplies being "forgotten" about in CA. People like her want the government to run their lives from cradle to grave.

Local & State health departments are responsible for management of hospitals & their supplies of PPE & ventilators and thus are responsible for measuring quantities in stock, needed & ordered. There should be a simple website they all could use (a shared spreadsheet?)...
