Personnel are directed not to record as coronavirus if other illnesses are indicated etc. Plus the tests are very slow, people get diagnosed post mortem. The horror show is just getting started.

We are like 3 weeks at least from peak hospitalizations in NY. The death count is nowhere near peak yet unfortunately.

If the treatment is working then it will indeed flatten out. Infections would spike without a corresponding spike in deaths. Whether or not cnn and msnbc covers it means nothing

It's worth noting that there is no "trial" on http://clinicaltrials.gov (the site where clinical trials are registered) that matches the provision & off label prescription of hydroxychloroquine to NY earlier this week. There are studies to prove its efficacy but this ain't it.
