    One thing we learned from the #Coronavirus crisis is that if we offered every American citizen entering an actual shooting war a bullet-proof jacket and a helmet, 25% would decline to wear it under the reasoning that someone could just shoot them in the neck anyway.

        Getting shot in the neck is not assured; Getting sick, once or twice annually, from one of the 35,000 known viruses, is a certainty for most of us. Most people aren't afraid of getting sick.
