Have I ever mentioned that basing decisions on analogies is rarely a good idea? Also, basing the back-to-work strategy on geography instead of individual risk is probably also a losing play, but I am open to the counter-argument.https://twitter.com/gregggonsalves/status/1243516937788940298 …

So apparently #DeborahBirx is presenting her idea of low, medium and high risk counties in the US to @realDonaldTrump this weekend. She is, wrongly, analogizing from AIDS on this. HIV is a slowly spreading virus thru sex etc. This is a highly contagious respiratory virus. Ugh.

But waiting for perfect info would have kept both Columbus and Apollo from ever launching. Sometimes some risk must be taken in order to progress.

Couple the two strategies and we have a winner....wait, not sure the two can be played at the same time?...

she may just be analogizing to **explain** the strategy as opposed to constructing the strategy

If people stay local and get sick, they go to their local hospital. Those places best able to absorb new patients are able to have people return to work first.pic.twitter.com/AppzVLJkot
