Here’s my paper products resupply estimate:

Can the entire supply chain for paper goods operate under current government restrictions? I’m guessing toilet paper is essential but not paper plates? Need fact-check.

Factor in the insider hoarding on the first week of resupply. Those trucks will be empty before hitting stores. But that insider demand will be filled in a week, or better controlled.

Wisconsin is big in the paper industry and it is listed as necessary so even paper plates are being made.

Other good news is that so far trucking is essential under all orders I know of. There are only a handful of plants that manufacture TP in whole country. Largest brand is usually 2 now 3.

I’m a truck driver. I’m hauling paper products right now including toilet paper. Our company mostly hauls paper products all over the country. The paper mills that make our toilet paper, napkins, etc. are not hampered by this “crisis”. They are working at full capacity though.

All of the paper products that comes from these mills are made with recycled paper which we haul back to the mill after delivering their finished goods. Both businesses are booming right now.
