NY is bad because they have 50% of total US cases w/ <8% of population. Bad public health policy has consequences. Also, as most media are HQ in NY, they're NY focused.

Very good point. “Suspected” is not verified. My governor noted the Johns Hopkins numbers are Suspected +Verified not actual.

Tampa General Hospital is less than standard operating capacity due to postponement of non-essential procedures. No surge yet. Maybe its like a Tsunami when the tide goes far out.
