This is another way to get back to work faster. Identify the most vulnerable via DNA. Once we find a pattern, maybe you upload your 23andMe data and see if you are low risk? #coronavirushttps://twitter.com/balajis/status/1233599355120214016 …

PROBLEM For 80% the disease is mild, but for 20% it's severe. SOLUTION Sequence all infected. Record clinical outcome: mild or severe? Do association study to predict outcome from genomics, phenotype. You *might* be able to predict probability of coming down with a severe case. pic.twitter.com/igqpbkOkN5

Actually, they can find _known_ SNP or gene groups & you can check your results yourself. Problem is that the common factor between serious impacts may be on non-known genes so a new test may be required. Still worth doing IMHO.

Some reports severity linked to amount of virus you imbue when initially infected. DNA may not have much to do with it, but would be interesting to confirm.

Results out of Italy & Iran seem to indicate at that there may be a genetic aspect, as yet unknown. See NY state, later first case than CA but high Italian ancestry & more people infected/higher death rate. Also A blood type less resistant/higher risks.
