OMG! The world is shutting down based in large part on Italy’s flawed Coronavirus death count. This is such a DISASTER! In essence the report says that Italy is counting Coronavirus deaths even those who have many other health issues (and were anyway on the way out).https://twitter.com/kerpen/status/1241501750030471175 …

According to Prof Walter Ricciardi, scientific adviser to Italy’s minister of health, only 12% of the listed Coronavirus deaths R Coronvirus. The rest are people who were anyway dying but also happen to have Coronvirus. Folks, we need prudent steps; not panic-driven freak shows.

Explain how a counting error made so many more people sick and dying at the same time until it overwhelmed their hospitals. And same for other countries.

Unclear hospitalization problem has occurred worldwide. Most stories for most countries (except China early & Italy recently) are about fears it will happen, rather than evidence it has happened. Per death rate, this suggests death rate increase constant.https://www.macrotrends.net/countries/ITA/italy/death-rate …

There are hundreds of military trucks picking up coffins in my county because the cemetery are full and don’t know where to put them. Military trucks! Is that a counting error too?pic.twitter.com/xnyQsn2f9n

The problem is rumor reporting as fact instead of actual facts. This is one possible skew. Other sources claim they're not devoting resources to elderly and sickly people that are at high mortality risk when disregarding the virus - i.e. only save the strong. True? Who knows?
