Republicans have become so badly informed about economics it's hard to know where to start. Maybe here: quantitative easing had been a frequent policy since 2009..the hyperinflation predicted by Gop thinkers never materialized.

Rather than print up US dollars and debase the currency why not print up something like a dollar but it doesn’t matter if it goes down in value to Americans when the crisis is over. You could call it a Canadian dollar or the Zimbabwe dollar.
