Flattening curve alone not enough. 50% infected x 12% hospitalized overwhelms, even if spread over 18 mo. Need tight lockdown until have mass testing like SK, then mandatory isolation of infected. Maybe lucky w/ weather, therapies, or serology shows undercounting of mild cases.

That’s the best we can hope for. I pray those meds work. Then we can all catch it, cure it, get herd immunity—and get back to work.

No, we do not want herd immunity because that means viruses in millions of people and then it will mutate and yet potently again become deadly despite drugs We want to give the virus SARS-CoV-2 the same treatment as SARS-CoV-1 = isolation Or close to that. It will still exist

It “working” doesn’t necessarily mean it is a cure. The Chinese reported it being beneficial not that it cured everyone.
