Expect to see a phased “back to work” plan in two weeks or so when our pipeline for meds is working. Young people who can also avoid high viral loads will go first. #coronaviruspic.twitter.com/1vLcBDXZd3

That is too late. The greatest economy in the world will have been severely damaged to the tune of trillions for a 1% fatality rate of those infected. Calculate that human toll relative to death rate of CV. Makes no sense

Put a number on it. How many dead are you okay with to get back to work today?

For cars, 50,000 per year. Honest people can answer the question.

Over 5,000 died in a few weeks in Italy, and that is now after strict quarantine going on now.

Persuasion at work: number dead is unknowable. Send the young and healthy back to work. Keep the old, sick and those with Covid-19 symptoms at home. Why treat all the same regardless of risk? Evidence suggests that transfer is most likely from sick to young, not vice versa.
