In two weeks, I’d expect young people in areas where there is enough Chloroquine etc., and pop-up tents to administer it, to be allowed to phase back to work while the more vulnerable sit it out a bit longer. https://twitter.com/seanmdav/status/1241374964344934400 …

Two weeks is too long, needs to happen at the end of next week.

What if quinine only mildly reduces symptoms? PPEs will be more valuable to smother the spread. Oh and surveillance testing as well

Exactly. All high risk people lock down, we use the stimulus to help them, low risk people go about your business. That will give us herd immunity and with high risk isolating and not getting sick that leaves open ICU beds for the low risk that do have complications.
-
There is no herd immunity for this. Google it.

Making sure you see this.. This is mainstream media's response to drugs that may be working... Bloomberg news smear job on Chloroquine. Irresponsible? https://www.bloomberg.com/amp/news/articles/2020-03-20/virus-drug-touted-by-trump-musk-can-kill-with-just-two-grams?__twitter_impression=true …

There are a lot more than 100K people considered "at risk". How gracious of you to allow those older than you to die. Hopefully, when you reach your 80th birthday, you will remember the thought (or lack thereof) behind your Tweet.

Young people that work have kids. While at work, with day care and school closed, grandma and grandpa are watching the kids. Then, mom and dad come home from work (assuming they still have jobs) with whatever is out there. With all due respect, there is no simple solution.
