It's a red tape situation , period. Doctors don't want to risk their reputation by saying "screw the sides, it's better than CV!!" and they'd also be opening themselves up for liability. Trump has to step in and allow patients to opt in right now and forgoe "blind random trial"

I’ve been on plaquenil for rheumatology reasons, beginning it caused a bit of headache and stomach upset. Other than that vision problems usually after prolonged use and quite rare. Get my eyes checked annually. If this med works against covid, ppl shouldn’t be afraid of it
