I'm getting damned tired of the media hyping this so much. What is the benefit of a panic?

There is no panic. Individuals have different levels of worry, but society is functioning rationally and adapting rapidly.

Our Sam's and Kroger's are packed to the gills again this morning. Not sure why our churches all shut down today. A local restaurant did a live stream on FB letting everyone know they were open (they were packed) and to come on down. No one is panicking around here.

Sarcasm is hard to tell on the internet sometimes? Unfortunately all restaurants being open with smaller crowds would have been safer. Or 100% lockdown which is unrealistic.

Wine bottle fights in Sam's Club are not a sign of panic? Maybe just a little bit?

We have to be careful what we attribute to Covid-19 vs normal bad behavior. Case in point, the wine bottle fight. This wasn't about panic buying. 1 person bumped into the wife of another. Wouldn't apologize. A fight ensued. Video tagged as a fight over panic buy of water.

It’s not irrational to stock up on food and essential items when we are in lockdown mode. I’ve seen worse in Black Friday every year than I am seeing now.

No panic Scott? Those least able to handle a crisis could be danger of losing essential supplies because of irresponsible rhetoric by the well meaning but foolish. Maybe you should get out more.

Followers, followers, followers... There is no panic... 🤦‍♂️ but remember: Do not go to the restaurant! Don't go to the game! Don't go-to work!, (if it's still in business), Don't see your family! Don't organise a wedding! Horde food! Don't go on holiday! Stay inside!

Serious question for Scott: Have you actually been out to any stores since this started? I have, and my movie depicts panic. I gave up on trying to find toilet paper or disinfectant wipes to clean my gear. I'm waiting a few days for the panic to subside before trying again.
