In the 2018-2019 flu season, there were 490K hospitalizations in the US. Spread over a 6 month window it is 81,666 a month and 2,722/day. Is the concern that Corona will have a similar amount of new hospitalizations a day? Or maybe adding only 300+ above the 2,722 can be bad?
