I'm guessing he was trying to suggest drinking bleach. AFAIK the usual chemical used in bleach is sodium hypochlorite. But Wiki (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlorine_dioxide …) does say "it is a potent and useful oxidizing agent used in water treatment and in bleaching.[4] 1/2
