The clothing and fashion industry in northern Italy has close relations to China and Asia. Lots of business travel, fashion fairs in Milano etc. A corona-themed joke: This is the first time the original was made in China and the copy in Milan.

Apparently businesses in Northern Italy were bought out by the Chinese and there is a large number from Wuhan in Italy...at least from what I read...

There are large numbers of Chinese in France, and I believe Spain too. Don't know about the U.K. I have one Chinese friend who lives there with her daughter.
