Statistical aberration... Cruise ship demographics are generally older travelers, and the likelihood of underlying issues in that group is higher. It’s such a small sample size and so shifted that you can’t view it as representative of the general population.

In the grand scheme of things most COVID-19 cases in the general population are probably thought of as seasonal flu and go undiagnosed. People stay home, lots of rest and fluids, and have no clue they’re a “survivor.”

Just got off a cruise yesterday no one had it. Very normal cruise except the constant "washie washie" spouted by the crew. LOL But your point is true over 65 yr olds runs 10 to 1 for under 65 yr olds.

Cruise ships average one fatality per week, for VARIOUS medical reasons which seems high. 6 deaths on one ship is 6 times the average. Something is different here
