Clarification: The U.S. coronavirus strategy (so far as I can tell by observation) is to slow the INEVITABLE spread, to avoid overwhelming our healthcare services and the workplace. That's a solid plan, but do not expect your government to tell you this directly.https://twitter.com/ScottAdamsSays/status/1235790551355539456 …

At what point do we admit the plan is for most of us to get the Coronavirus because there is no other possible outcome anyway?

No, the plan is to slow the spread enough so that it stops naturally in the warmer spring and summer months. The Southern Hemisphere has been largely spared from the effects of the virus.

Summer helps, but it will never stop naturally unless a lot of people become immune. Like all other viruses.

A lot of evidence to show that weather may not stop this, unfortunately. @NAChristakis discusses some interesting points: https://twitter.com/nachristakis/status/1235963670255071237?s=21 …https://twitter.com/NAChristakis/status/1235963670255071237 …

Let’s talk about how the weather affects epidemics and about how, relatedly, there are waves of deaths across time during epidemics. It may seem early to think about this, but we are just at the beginning of the *first* wave of COVID-19, but likely not the last. 1/

#Hi #ImMrMeseeks #LookAtMe Delaying it is also good since treatments are in development. The current “treatment” is Gatorade and sleep. Maybe the “Right to Try” could come into effect for people in critical condition?

We do not become fully immune with the common cold corona virus strains. Fewer symptoms when recaught next year, but still ... we catch it again.
