At what point do we admit the plan is for most of us to get the Coronavirus because there is no other possible outcome anyway?

Yes, folks can be incredibly resourceful, but will need supplementary oxygen etc. I live part-time in Italy (am here now) & hospitals here are struggling to manage. I’m not an alarmist. I’m living this daily & am astounded at the US response given what I am experiencing.

There are some documentaries with some amazing stories from the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic... and that at a time when the majority had no indoor plumbing and sanitary conditions (or understanding) were far worse in general.

I hope to God that this is nothing like the Spanish flu, with how mobile and interconnected the world is today relative to then, the loss of life and economic impact would be utterly devastating.
