Bernie's viability as a candidate depends entirely upon him never sitting for an extended interview with anyone who understands economics and also knows how to frame questions. In other words, he won't be returning calls from @MariaBartiromo, as one example.

You're right Scott, this "tax gap" as the IRS calls it cant ever be closed. A lot of fraud occurs at low income levels and its not cost effective for the IRS to chase.

tax cheats relative to ideology. Even if you follow tax code and do things right as the laws are written. Your a tax cheat by proxy of your valuation not because you subverted anything regulatory. The state owns you and your productivity.
