This non-MAGA hat was sent to me, unsolicited, by a fan. I forget what the hat said, but it was a takeoff on MAGA, not related to politics. I think it replaced "America" with some profession. I stuck it on an existing hook by the door as an emergency backup hat for my backyard.

In simpler times we used to say, "Photos don't lie." Today, it would be closer to the truth to say photos ALWAYS lie. A photo in this context is the combined opinion of the photographer and the editor, at best. At worst, as in this example, it is a lie to the audience.

I don't know if karma is a subroutine of the Simulation, or if it just seems that way. All I know for sure is that Bloomberg made an enemy of me that day.

I don't blame Bloomberg employees, many of whom have been terrific to me over the years. I think the CEO sets the editorial direction on political coverage.

This is all by way of disclosing that I have no intention of being objective about Bloomberg's presidential run. If I can be a small part of helping you imagine him less as a president, and more like a desiccated turd in a punch bowl, wearing a tiny suit, I have served karma.
