Math quiz: Jeff Bezos pledged $10 billion of his own money to address climate change. How much money would Bezos have pledged if Bernie had eliminated income inequality?

I knew you would change the game. Of course, if we give no one a reward things don’t happen. But Bernie is looking to take Bezos from $150b to more like $20b which will still leave him the richest in the US and still have plenty o’ incentives.https://www.joshuagans.com/innovation-equality …

Change the game? The game was always economics, and obviously the long run matters more than the short run.

This is the wrong way to address this. There will always be plenty of money. But there will be nothing to buy with it (in the extreme case). Money is an exchange medium. The product is the thing of value. And you will get much less product to trade for if equality is forced.

Untrue. No society needs billionaires, a few millions max. is enough & still incentive to achieve. Disappropriation of billionaires means there are no longer oligarchs able to buy politics & media, would restore democracy and even free markets.https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-echochambers-27074746 …

Government would've already eliminated climate change because it would already have the $10 billion Bezos would've had. Right? ;)
