Just got laid off here in the midwest along with 500 others. One week notice. Peapod is closing it's midwest grocery delivery. They were the first...1989. Way before amazon, walmart etc. They were the best. Very missed. Very depressins

Me too, I'm in that group of retire and in no need of social security. But what I'm saying is that age is over. 78% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. Nice idea, but the penny capitalism of the Mom and Pop shop is almost dead. What do you think Walmart did to small communities? Ended the bike shop, the shoe shop, the furniture store, the clothing shop, and even small groceries. Mom & Pop stores cannot complete with bulk buying.
