Conservatives see more context so they know most of that is fake news. (You still believe the “fine people” hoax?)

Scott, I think you miss the point with the reaction against Trump's both sides comments about Charlottesville. It is not that it can be argued that Trump has some amount of fact to back him up. It is that he didn't lead with nor emphasize his abhorrence of racism and bigotry.

Pepe, my personal feelings are immaterial. I was trying to explain why many people reacted so strongly at Trump's Charlottesville press conference. Remember, this guy talks about Mexican rapists, shithole countries, Central Park 5, birtherism, etc. He gets no benefit of doubt.

Central Park 5 were guilty, why are you turning rapists into celebrities? You will cheer on rapists just to stick it to trump.

And so, you defend the Liar-in-Chief who took out a huge ad for the execution of kids who turned out to be innocent of the charges (but were conveniently black). And you spread His lies on the internet for him because he isn’t man enough to A) Speak Truth or B) Admit Fault.

Good example of how artists are bad at reason. The color of the accused was never part of Trump's messaging. Trump agreed with police on who was guilty. Agreeing with law enforcement, yet being wrong, is far from a crime.

I disagree on this one. I see this Central Park Five episode as evidence of someone who at the time deep down was a racist. Why did Trump even get involved? I suspect he couldn't stop himself from expressing his racist preconceptions. & calling me an artist would be a compliment.

You exhibit the kind of mind-reading I would expect from someone who is an artist, not an economist, scientist, or lawyer. None of what you say is in evidence, and you don't want to live in a world in which you are condemned because others believe you have impure thoughts.
