Ouch.
In this era of boycotts & "cancel culture," I really have no choice but to stay anonymous because it would instantly kill my business if my clients discovered that I did not share their progressive world view.
This rule would silence a lot of very fine people. @jack

It would prevent me from commenting wherever the feature was turned on

Hypothetical author: "All white people suck and shouldn't be allowed to vote." *Tweet gets ratioed* Also hypothetical author: "OMG TROLLS ARE AFTER ME!" I'm sure this new rule will be applied fairly, like all other Twitter "rules".

You must realize, Scott, while YOU would likely use such a rule judiciously, MOST accounts would not. They'd use it constantly. Any chance at debate on Tweets from nuts would be lost (b/c they'd have many of us blocked), and the echo chamber effect would intensify greatly.

Not only would I lose my customer base, I have the misfortune to be trapped in a stridently blue area; I couldn't afford to keep repairing all the key scratches, broken windows, or damage from the gasoline poured across my lawn by my woke neighbors exercising their "free speech."

Haha, Scott. This shows that you’re a late comer to the Internet. Anyone of my gen who grew up w Internet b4 Al Gore claimed that he invented it would never suggest anything so outrageous about the sweet holiness of net anonymity.

It’s a religion. It seems
@Jack is also a believer.
