I have never literally hated my government before today. This is new.

It's called privilege
@ScottAdamsSays. You didn't hate them when they locked kids up in cages? You didn't hate them when they killed innocent civilians around the globe? Must be nice to be so shielded by the evils of your government.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

I treat good intentions that have bad outcomes differently than bad intention. You play it another way?

I look at results not intentions. Especially when those intentions are resulting in reproducing the same results (people in cages, kids separated, people dying in custody, etc). You know what they say about the road to hell and good intentions.

If you looked at results, you would be changing strategy when it comes to arguing or even understanding what's going on. Or do you prefer human traffickers to stay with their victims once detained at the border?

So all people who cross the border do so with human traffickers. That's not only a lazy excuse it's factually incorrect. Also doesn't explain why separating families is good or moral. It doesn't explain why the policy has been continued considering the # of kids the govt lost.pic.twitter.com/ZWdi4bnNbI

The “so” tell for cognitive dissonance. I’m scoring this a knockout in the first round.
