Persuasion Lesson: When someone accuses President Trump of asking Ukraine to "dig up dirt on a political opponent," try this response: "No one is above the law, including Joe Biden."

Scott, honest question. What crime did Biden commit?

There is no evidence of Joe Biden being involved in any crimes. But evidence is only barely relevant to politics. Most people would think the Burisma link was worth knowing more about.

Okay, so let’s flesh that out then. There’s been plenty of insight into Burisma. It was even brought up during the public hearings as bad optics, but everyone agreed nothing Nefarious came from it. In fact Joe Biden and the US acted against the best interests of that org

Elaborate please then. What bad has come from it. Specifically, what bad for the US?

You wouldn’t want to know if the next president (per the polls) is beholden to Ukraine? Potential foreign influence is a top national priority and of great interest to Americans.

How exactly would Biden be beholden to them? While VP, he executed Us policy to help root out a corrupt former administration. Where is he beholden?

He probably wants to keep his son out of jail or at least away from criticism. Burisma is corrupt. That’s usually enough to create blackmail risk.

So Scott, Biden was appointed to the bird in 2014...over a year later Biden executes US policy to out a Corrupt prosecutor. He literally increased the odds his son could be investigated with a new prosecutor. This theory doesn’t make any sense when laid out

Meanwhile back in reality, the evidence available is that Burisma was under investigation from 2014-6, during which the time the “corrupt prosecutor” was fired in response to Biden threatening to withhold aid.

Then why not use normal state department channels? And why zero interest in corruption by Netanyahu? By MBS? Erdogan? This was all about trying to inflate and spread false narratives for the 2020 election. I mean come on.
