Look, I get that you're a fervent fangirl for Scott. I appreciate his thinking, which is why he's one of mere handful of non-scientists I had on my science podcasts. But goals vs. systems is Kruglanski's idea. Scott prob heard it somewhere - don't think he said he originated.

Scott, you basically put out a clear, practical incarnation of this concept, and I thought it was great. I think you are the only non-researcher I reference and quote (besides my boyfriend, etc. in stories) in "Unf*ckology."

If I don't think somebody's intentionally ripped somebody off [without crediting] (and I don't for a moment believe you'd do that or did), I just do what I did in the book -- politely credit the original source and quote the better person at describing the concept (you).
