Yes it is. I'm only pointing out why it's not already in use. It's existed for a long time. I'm all for it. Like w/ residential solar power, it takes 30 or 40 years to get contractors, codes, etc, for it to become normal after the initial push.

It's fine out West, where it's dry, but in the Deep South, where I am, the humidity is usually over 50% in the summer so mold & mildew would quickly form because of condensation on solid surfaces, which could cause sickness.

For instance, my brother lives in Houston, Texas, where the humidity is often over 60%, so even w/ conventional AC, he still has keep preventing mold & mildew in mind. But, like I pointed out, wells, etc, can be used in tandem w/ dehumidifiers or conventional AC to dehumidify.

If you already have conventional AC, you can just have a sprayer hooked to a solar powered pump in a pond or well & spray the "outside" part of the AC (condensor), where the water cools it as well as the air & have a substantial cost savings. There are Youtube videos on this.

I'm not a naysayer. It's just good to think good ideas through, otherwise you end up like California recently (Road to Hell, being paved w/ good intentions,etc). I've advocated for this type of HVAC for years!
