Another possibility is that Democrats are hallucinating that a credible argument for impeachment has been made. (I didn’t see one.)https://twitter.com/ThePlumLineGS/status/1198440945705988096 …

It is not a serious argument to claim the impeachment inquiry is based on a hallucination. Trump's administration leveraged its power to get the Ukrainians to promise investigations. Fact, not hallucination. You might feel that is not impeachable, but don't say hallucination.

It is an hallucination that there was no public interest in exactly those topics for which Trump asked for investigations. You fell for thinking past the sale. Classic brainwashing.

I generally don't respond when Twitter conversations devolve from fact to empty insult. I am not here to win or lose but to learn and share.

"It is an hallucination ... You fell for thinking past the sale. Classic brainwashing." I consider it an insult to be accused of hallucinating and being brainwashed when all I did is remark about fact. It is especially insulting because I have called for Biden to withdraw.

Hallucinations are universal. And you ignored the point, which is a strong indicator of cognitive dissonance. You know that if the US public wanted to know about Bidens/Burisma, then Trump was doing his job, and any political benefit he gains is earned.
