Every time that Trump has settled out of court, it wasn't because he was innocent.

These folks see the "elephant". They call it "Trump undermining the rule of law". AND Trump admits it's what he wants to do: Remove regulation. Make unethical deals legal again. Etc. CHALLENGE: Contact them. Influence them of their wrongness. Good luck!https://impeachdonaldtrumpnow.org/who-we-are/legal-advisory-board/ …

Calling removing (or streamlining) regulations "undermining the rule of law" is enough to disqualify them from consideration.

I'm not convinced that the regulations and laws Trump is breaking down were bad or wrong in the first place. By definition, they were legal. Do you have a higher order to judge them against? That would be interesting...

Removing them is also legal. The law specifies that various agencies are to produce regulations, under the direction of the CEO. The president.

True. And now we are at the point where we could discuss the will of "The People" and if that CEO is making good or bad decisions, or breaking existing laws and policies... Not usually legal to break them before changing them. Not good to mock the majority of voters' will. /1

So far, nobody in Congress has pointed to a LAW he's broken. As for "policy", the president SETS policy, and can change those policies left over from his predecessor. That's what he campaigned on, and what he was elected to do. You may think his decisions bad, others don't.

LAWS like these? 18 U.S. Code § 872: "Extortion by officers or employees of the United States." 2 U.S. Code § 192, "Refusal of witness to testify or produce papers," 52 U.S. Code § 30121, "Contributions and donations by foreign nationals." Or unconstitutional emoluments?

Replying to @EarthlingNathan @RamblingAK and
The fact that there is disagreement doesn't mean both sides are wrong. People who model the economy as a pile of sand have a very poor understanding of monetary value systems. Trump has no evidence to back up his plans. Shooting from the hip is foolish, not admirable.

None of that was much of a point.
