Answer: Hallucinations add to the scenery. They rarely subtract.https://twitter.com/nytimes/status/1196250433112727553 …

The US is a free country, governed by the rule of law. The "spirit of the law" is important. Trump violates the spirit frequently. He TRIES to skirt the law to maximize his influence, but he is certainly no expert. The elephant is real. It is Trump admin+friends breaking laws.

Trump breaks the "spirit of the law?" To whom did he deny due process, or right to counsel? Did he misrepresent opposition research as intelligence to a foreign intelligence surveillance court, for example? Reality always wins and the Dem elephant is about to roll onto itself.

Ethics laws, my dude. We have them for a reason. And you can't really tell me Trump doesn't skirt them, or brush up against them, or bend the law as much as he can. The law that slows down his profits are "The Swamp" he attacks. He hates laws that slow down his deals.

Exactly. All the elephant-sized ethics laws in the middle of the room that large groups of delusional people refuse to acknowledge: Anarchist-leaning folks, I guess. Social Darwinists. General law-breakers.

Every time that Trump has settled out of court, it wasn't because he was innocent.
