“Quid-pro-quo” wasn’t moving the needle enough so Pelosi & Schiff decided to find a better word for this charade. That’s where we’re at, folks. An impeachment in search of a crime.... via polling. Dark times for our country.

There was a logical evolution of the terminology as the witnesses testified. "Quid pro quo" implies a mutual trade. As more witnesseses testified, a pattern of pressure from one side has been established. The terminology has evolved because more information is available.

A quid pro quo is not always necessarily bribery. But bribery necessarily involves a quid pro quo. This has always been the latter.
