Hi @ScottAdamsSays, agree that the "perception of fairness" is not a thing, but attempt at "RATIONAL fairness", absolutely does exist.
It is called "the law", and (as flawed as it is, especially today), we have built quite an infrastructure around the concept. System works.

I say the same in LOSERTHINK. The closest you can get to fairness is playing by the same set of rules.

..but not for different CATEGORIES of people, which are widely different. Ie, grown ass man can self-identify as 6yo girl (fact); should he be allowed to play in a school team, because your personal perception of fairness, or banned from it, because attempt at rational fairness?

Am I in the same category as an NBA center? Our "categories" are arbitrary. And I see no reason one artificial category gets a first place trophy and another (short male basketball players over 60) is ignored.

I'm okay letting the market decide who gets paid.

I don't care one way or another. The market will work it out. I won't be watching either way.
