Hi @ScottAdamsSays, agree that the "perception of fairness" is not a thing, but attempt at "RATIONAL fairness", absolutely does exist.
It is called "the law", and (as flawed as it is, especially today), we have built quite an infrastructure around the concept. System works.

You can't win by defining what a woman is so it fits your argument. Women have a league. Women play in it. Some women are way better than others. There is only one winner among the women no matter how you do it.

I follow your "NBA" analogy (wink, wink), but unlike it, categorizing differently prepubescent vs adult, XX vs XY chromosomes, aren't "arbitrary" at all; they are scientific and objective categories - WITHIN which, you still have non-arbitrary ones, like competency level

Btw, I'm fine either way - but if we accept the logical conclusion of male to female athletes competing with biological women - we will de facto abolish women sports, and no women will ever win a sport trophy again. Won't cry over it, just stating the inevitable consequence

I can see three winners for each open competition: "Top Female" by DNA, top female by identity, and top male, for example.
