I must say, getting sub-tweeted by Dilbert is something. In any case, @ScottAdamsSays, virtually every foreign policy observer and scholar says Trump’s letter is more than “non-standard;” It’s crazy, dangerous, and reflective of profound dysfunction on part of Trump and advisors.pic.twitter.com/Yt6N4xvgxD

How many of those geniuses said Trump would become president? Approximately zero?

The fact that many observers didn’t predict Trump’s election has no bearing on his gross incompetence and ignorance in office. Note that not even Trump defenders pretend he knows anything of the region. He is all unhinged, uninformed impulse, and that makes for terrible policy.

Trumps predecessors knew very about the region and their policies have been an utter failure (Iraq, Libya, Syria...)

How many Trump voters said Trump would betray an ally with callous cynicism, and with short-sighted disregard for the US credibility in the future?

The fact that those people had higher hopes for the collective brain function of the nation's residents doesn't make them wrong about the insanity that came from electing him. Those people you mock were smart enough to know in advance that this type of idiocy would occur.

Dilbert says: hey, if those guys are so smart, why weren't they psychic? Intelligent take, Scott.
