Hey @ScottAdamsSays the recommended tire pressure is on the driver’s side door well, not the tire itself. Many vehicles have different pressure for front tires versus back tires even when the tires themselves are identical.

Think manual specifies maximum tire pressure. I was always told to follow pressure settings on driver door area.

Exactly, the tire itself gives the maximum. The recommended pressure depends on the specific load (type of car).

Have you looked inside the door well? I’ve never seen a car without a sticker in there specifying the tire pressures, but maybe you have something more exotic than I’ve seen.

he's correct, tires show max psi, driver's side door is ideal psi. Your manual is wrong

U had what my hubby calls a “ have a coffee & a donut” moment. U get frustrated & ur brain stops working. Need to walk away & do something else. Clear the mechanism. If cldnt find it on tire, search internet for alt options or pirelli tire pressures on website.

I have to get the pressure checked all the time because I drive to remote places with debris in the road. The nice young men at Discount Tire open the door and read the tire pressure. If I'm on my own, I fill them up until they can't take anymore and hope for the best.
